Serving on the leadership team for PraiseWorks, David has been involved in the planning and execution of PraiseWorks–an annual worship arts camp for approximately 700 students held on the campus of Ouachita Baptist University. David has taught tracks each year on using ProPresenter as well as other tracks focused on audio, click tracks/loops, and lighting.

Supported by the ABSC, David helped to train several new church plants in using ProPresenter for worship.

David was invited to present at the ETS Annual Meeting in Fort Worth, TX on November 17, 2021. He presented the paper: “From Multigenerational to Intergenerational: Employing Intentional Mutuality to Reconnect the Generations” He also participated in a presenter’s roundtable discussion regarding intergenerational worship practices.

Sponsored by the ABSC and conducted at the ABSC building, David trained many church leaders from across Arkansas in the effective use of ProPresenter in worship

David was invited to present a virtual poster session on how historical perspectives affect current thought and practice regarding visual aspects in modern worship.

David served as the primary facilitator for technology in worship activities for Synergy for Ministry from 2011 to 2019. In this capacity, David planned and taught various webinars, conference courses, and individual technical training regarding incorporating technology in worship ministry. David taught courses in worship ministry planning software, presentation software, and using technology in worship for the Mosaic Statewide Music Training events sponsored by the Arkansas Baptist State Convention in 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019.
